Please help me welcome our new office mascot, Presley! Presley is a 6 year old doberman who has made her way across the country and back, to be the new canine representative for Shalimar Studios. Due to unforseen circumstances, Presley was no longer able to be cared for by my brother and his wife, so I stepped up and adopted this sweet, precious girl. Now this wasn't a difficult decision considering I've known her since she was a puppy and have seen her grow, age and become quite the little lady. But don't let that fool you, she is boisterous when amongst her fellow canine friends at doggie day care, and is the perfect playmate to my nieces and nephew. But I do have to say, when those eyes look up at you, you can not help but to melt. So with open arms I welcome Presley to her new home and I do hope you'll enjoy meeting her when you come visit the studio.
Before Presley, my mom and I made the 3 day, cross-country drive from Milwaukee back to Las Vegas, we had an improptu good bye portrait session with my brother and Presley. Here are a few moments from that session.
