What an absolutely lucky gal I am to get to do the work that I love. And that includes meeting wonderful, talented, giving individuals like the young ladies who are this year's contestants for the Glitterati Charity Pageant. You may recall I photographed this event last year, and I can not share with you all how much I enjoyed it. The event was fun, full of color and of course gorgeous South Asian young ladies participating all in the name of feeding hungry children back in India.
I met so many of the young women for the first time through the pageant and they all have hearts of gold. Fun-loving personalities must be a requirement for these girls, because they all seem to exude it naturally. And this year is no exception as you'll see below. Many of the 2011 contestants contacted me to photograph them for their submissions into the Miss Photogenic portion of the pageant and of course I accepted! Each session was fun, fabulous and I enjoyed meeting and spending time with each of them.
And so later today at the Four Seasons Las Vegas, I will be photographing the event rooting for each and every one of them, but all with the common goal of raising funds to feed those less fortunate than us. All my best ladies!
