Living out on a ranch with horses, tumbleweed crossing my path, and the sounds of wildlife prancing through my property, is a dream of mine. Like many young girls, every year for my birthday I asked my parents for a horse and every year the answer was no. This year, I made one step closer to that goal, and started horseback riding lessons. I’m still very new, but enjoying every moment and am embracing every part of ranch living and lifestyle. Life is worth it. It’s worth pursuing your dreams no matter how old you are.
So when this rustic portrait session at an actual working ranch popped up, I knew I had to photograph it. With Karina’s exotic and million-dollar eyes, it was the perfect storm of fulfilling my childhood dreams, and showcasing her talents to the world.
