Can I share a secret with you? I secretly want to be a cowgirl. Since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamt of hopping on a horse and riding off into a field with the dust kicking up behind me and only the mountains out in front of me. Alas, that has yet to be realized, but it fulfills me in a deep way when I get a lady like Courtney and her horse Philip up in front of my camera. Can you just FEEL those western vibes?
Photographed at Pebble Beach along the Salt River, our spring thunderstorm skies provided just the right amount of clouds and light to take this session past what I had envisioned.
