Earlier this year I was approached by a model agent from New York to photograph up-and-coming model Stacy Duncan. The agent had found Stacy via Instagram, signed her immediately and wanted to get her portfolio up and running for a fast approaching 3 month stint in Asia. She needed a variety of images to update her portfolio and suggested I focus on clean, simple, studio images of Stacy, similar to a Calvin Klein-type ad. So we collaborated, chatted about wardrobe, and I enlisted the help of talented hair and makeup artist Shali Torres to help round out the team.
I have to say, after photographing and working with varied levels of models, Stacy has a bright future ahead of her with her dewy looks, ease at taking direction, and motivation and interest at making modeling her career. She will be leaving for Asia soon with Paragon Model Management, and I wish her all my best and look forward to seeing her grow and excel.
