The Paradigm Shift

Do you feel it?  Will you go with it, embrace it and ride the wave or let it pass you by only to realize later what you missed?  Sure, you can always jump in later, but it takes guts, strength and a little bit of insanity to take those plunges.  Sometimes it might not work out the way we intended it to, but in some small way it had a dramatic affect on you.  At that moment, you felt completely alive, exuberant and powerful.  That's the feeling of a paradigm shift.  It's that anticipation, culmination of energy and action that forces each of us to continue to pursue and fight for our visions.  It's something I have experienced only a few times in my life and one of those times is right now.

I can feel the energy building.  It feels like the planets are aligning. The hair on my arms is raised as if I rubbed my socked feet on the carpet to build up static electricity.  I feel it from the soles of my feet to the ends of my hair.  The blood is pulsing through my veins, I feel a crescendo, and the valleys and summits all are contributing to this amazing experience.  Yes, it can be scary, just like riding a roller coaster up the first hill.  The anticipation builds and then finally the moment of pure excitement and fulfillment completely takes over.  We don't forget about the fear, hesitation and uneasiness, but experiencing those first is partially why the end result is worth it.

This is where I feel I am in my life right now.  There are not enough words I can use to describe this inner feeling that I possess in my little 5' 1″ body.  Even amongst one of the worst economies the US has seen, even amongst terrorist attacks and health related epidemics, I feel a paradigm shift.  I feel it in my core, in my being and with full confidence that it is divine intervention.

Do you feel it?  Will you go with it, embrace it and ride the wave or let it pass you by only to realize later what you missed?

I'd like for you to experience it with me.

I’M  YASMIN

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
