A Session with Purpose
Every year, Shalimar Studios hosts pet portrait fundraiser sessions to support local animal rescues throughout Arizona. This year, we had the pleasure of photographing Izzy, a talented local dog trainer and owner of Midnight K9, along with her videography work through Guido Media. As a fellow small business owner dedicated to working with animals, Izzy understands the importance of giving back to the rescue community.
Three Rescue Dogs, Three Unique Personalities
Charlie, Oliver, and Poppy each brought their own charm to the session. All three pups are rescue dogs who found their forever home with Izzy, and their transformed lives are a testament to the power of adoption and proper training. From playful moments to those quiet, soulful gazes that rescue dogs seem to perfect, we captured the genuine bond between Izzy and her pack.

These pet portrait fundraiser sessions have raised over $3,100 for animal rescues over the past 2 years, and every session contributes directly to helping more dogs like Charlie, Oliver, and Poppy find their happy endings.
