The Summer 2012 Olympics are in a couple of days and I can not wait to see all the events, athletes and hear the Star Spangled Banner over and over again in celebration of US gold medal wins. As a kid I often thought I would one day represent the USA in either figure skating or gymnastics, but alas, my life took other turns and instead I enjoy watching from my tv and rooting on my fellow Americans.
So with such a momentous occassion on the cusp of erupting, I was inspired to create a photo shoot centered around American pride with stars and stripes. This was almost the shoot that never happened as all within the 24 hours before the shoot, my makeup artist, hair stylist and photo assistant all canceled. Yikes, what was I going to do now? Luckily I was referred to Natasha Chamberlin who stepped in last minute on hair and makeup and did an absolutely fabulous job! Although it was a smaller crew for this shoot, I have to thank Natasha, model Autumn from Envy Model Management, Ria Umeria as wardrobe stylist, and TopShop for wardrobe for all bringing together their fabulous talents for another successful photo shoot.
