Arizona Pet Portrait Fundraiser | Supporting Almost Home Rescue
When Jamie Graham reached out about photographing her beloved rescue dogs, I was thrilled to photograph her again. You may remember Jamie from her stunning equestrian portrait session featured on Equestrians of Color. This time, we were celebrating her two rescue pups—and giving back to the organization that brought them into her life.
Pet Portraits with Purpose
For Jamie’s session, we donated her session fee directly to Almost Home Rescue, the Phoenix-area organization where both of her dogs found their forever home. These annual fundraiser sessions are one of my favorite traditions, allowing pet parents to invest in beautiful portraits while supporting the rescues that make second chances possible.
There’s something uniquely touching about photographing rescue dogs. During our session, I watched Jamie’s dogs respond to her with the kind of devotion that only comes from knowing you’ve been chosen. These weren’t just posed portraits—they were celebrations of resilience, second chances, and unconditional love.

Since launching these fundraiser sessions, I’ve had the honor of raising over $3,100 for animal rescues throughout Arizona. Each session tells a different story, but they all share the same heart: supporting the organizations working tirelessly to save and rehome animals in need.
