There’s something special about photographing dogs I’ve gotten to know over time, and Lennox is no exception. This handsome German Shepherd and his mom Chris joined me for my annual pet portrait fundraiser, with their session fee donated to Starting Over Rescue – an organization doing incredible work for animals in need.
A Friendship Built Through Dog Training
Chris and I first connected a couple of years ago through agility and scentwork classes with our dogs. Watching Lennox grow and develop his skills alongside Zayn has been such a rewarding experience. These classes have helped both of our dogs in different ways – building confidence, providing mental stimulation, and strengthening the bond between handler and dog.

German Shepherds have such striking features and expressive faces, and Lennox is a perfect example. During our pet photography session, we captured his noble profile, those alert ears, and the intelligent gaze that makes this breed so captivating.
