Recently, I had the privilege of photographing Alfa, a stunning 115-pound Cane Corso who’s searching for her forever home. These portrait sessions are some of my favorite work—not just because I get to spend time with incredible dogs, but because I know these images can truly make a difference in helping them find the right family.
Alfa is a beautiful example of the Cane Corso breed: powerful, loyal, and surprisingly cuddly. She’s equal parts guard dog and gentle giant, the kind of dog who will make you feel incredibly safe while also hogging all the pillows and spending 20+ hours a day perfecting her napping skills.
What makes Alfa special is not just her impressive training (she’s highly leash obedient and loves her training protocols), but the incredible support system that comes with her. Midnight K9 and @phoenixK9trainingusa have generously offered transition training and FREE lifetime training for Alfa’s new owners—an invaluable resource for anyone adopting a powerful breed.
Alfa needs a specific home: no other dogs or kids, a confident owner who works from home, and someone willing to continue her training and raw food diet. She can be insecure and needs strong, patient leadership. But for the right person, she’s an absolute treasure who loves fetch, road trips, hiking, and baking in the Arizona sun.

A Note About Free Rescue Portraits
This is exactly why I offer complimentary portrait sessions to animal rescues and organizations. These quick 10-minute studio sessions provide professional images that can showcase a pet’s personality and dramatically increase their chances of finding the right home. There’s no cost to the rescue, and the impact can be life-changing for the animals waiting for their people.
If you’re interested in meeting Alfa or know someone who might be her perfect match, reach out to the trainers mentioned above. And if you’re a rescue organization in Arizona looking to give your adoptable pets a visual boost, let’s connect.
Every dog deserves their perfect portrait—and their perfect home.
