This past April, Shalimar Studios donated a portrait package to the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball Fundraiser. The package consisted of a portrait session, $200 portrait credit and a Fixed Oval Photo Charm Necklace. All proceeds from the silent auction benefitted the AHA and we were so proud to participate.
The lovely winners of the package was the Martinez Family, comprising of Mike, Jennifer, Andrew, Adam and Isabella. I have to say, this family is lovely and yummy, all wrapped up in one! I first was contacted by mom Jennifer, and after a few conversations, we nailed down a date for their family session at a local park. The red rock landscaping and lovely green grass easily complimented the family in a relaxed manner. Photographing Andrew, Adam and Isabella was a real treat as they were natural and relaxed all the while showcasing their dynamite smiles!
Before we knew it, the session was over and we knew we had formed a strong bond. Not just because the Martinez family is so warm and welcoming, but because we knew this was all accomplished in the name of charity and fighting heart disease and stroke. They will forever look back upon their family portraits knowing they helped in the fight and made a difference in someone’s life. I’m so proud to be associated with the AHA and to have been blessed to meet the Martinez family.
