Olivia from Envy Model Management

What an absolute pleasure it was to work with model Olivia and hair/makeup artist Shali on this shoot.  I choose Olivia from a list of models I could test from Envy Model Management and I couldn't have been happier.  As you'll see, she has eyes and cheekbones to die for!  As she was getting prepped for her first look, we were chatting, getting to know each other, and it was easy to see she is a very grounded woman surrounded by supportive and loving family.  Originally discovered and scouted by one of the world's most well-known agencies, she has honed her skills in front of the camera and on the runway and has the moves and poses of a seasoned pro.  I had so much fun working with her, that I comissioned her to model for our Las Vegas PAC group (formerly the Las Vegas SmugMug group), where I'll be teaching about beauty lighting.

And Shali, what a divine intervention it was working with her too!  I met Shali recently at the emergeARTS magazine launch party, where we immediately hit it off.  When I handed her my card she gasped as she read the studio name.  It turns out her full first name is Shalimar, and just at the same moment we both exclaimed, “It was meant to be!”  This shoot was the first shoot we worked on together, and her fun, bubbly personality is one I know I'll want around more often.

Thank you to Andrew from Envy for continuing our model testing relationship and providing Olivia for this shoot, and a big thank you to both Olivia and Shali for collaborating on a fun, all-girls shoot too!

I’M  YASMIN

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
